The purpose of this particular page is, "Whatever the heck I want to write about at the time."

I have certain interests and hobbies, and one of those interests is writing. I like to read, and reading a book that is well-written makes me want to write something, too--thus, my Webpage. It gives me that opportunity. Generally it's just opinion and usually that opinion relates to one of my main interests for which I have special pages. But every now and then, I have the urge to pontificate on a topic that is, well, off-topic. It doesn't fit any of my specialty pages. And so, I have this--the "miscellaneous" page. Where I can muse on topics general and not be constrained by theme. A good system, don't you think?

And now, you may ask, what do I wish to contemplate right now? What is my current "off-topic topic"?
